Role Overview

Majid Al Futtaim, a leading developer and operator of shopping malls, retail, communities, and entertainment across 18 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia, is seeking a Retail District Manager Carrefour. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for driving continuous improvement in store performance. The role holder will monitor, analyze, and implement actions to align with senior management directives and organizational objectives, while also coordinating internal functions to foster synergies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the continuous improvement of store performance through monitoring, analysis, and the implementation of strategic actions.
• Coordinate internal functions to develop and maintain operational synergies in line with the overall company strategy.
• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization, and profitability of store assets within the country, including regular visits to assigned stores.
• Support the development of national retail concepts and ensure their consistent application across the country.
• Ensure the strict implementation of MAF Retail corporate policies and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the operating country.
• Maintain the integrity of product assortment structures and ensure high standards for product presentation.
• Provide support for new projects throughout all phases and coordinate cross-functional synergies.
• Ensure the consistent maintenance of the promotional image for all assigned stores.
• Assist in the performance management process by contributing to objective setting, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and offering inputs to senior management.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with the Human Capital department to facilitate necessary training programs.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is required.
• An MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• At least 3 years of this experience must be within the retail (supermarkets industry).

• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
