The Role of District Manager (Carrefour)

Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a District Manager for its Carrefour operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to driving the continuous improvement of store performance within the assigned district, aligning with senior management directives and overall organizational objectives.

Core Responsibilities

The District Manager is responsible for monitoring and analyzing store performance, proposing strategic improvement actions, and overseeing their effective implementation. This position also involves coordinating various internal functions to foster synergy and ensure alignment with the company's overarching strategy.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization, and profitability of store assets within the country.
• Conduct regular store visits to assigned locations.
• Support the development of national retail concepts and oversee their consistent application.
• Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail corporate policies and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations in the operating country.
• Oversee the application of the product assortment structure and maintain high standards of product presentation.
• Provide support for new projects across all phases and coordinate functional synergies.
• Ensure the promotional image is consistently maintained for all assigned stores.
• Contribute to the performance management process by assisting with objective setting, monitoring performance, providing constructive feedback, and offering inputs to senior management.
• Identify training needs and collaborate with the Human Capital department to facilitate necessary training requirements.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this full-time position should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating a strong background in retail operations management.
