The District Manager Role

Carrefour Saudi Arabia is seeking a District Manager to lead and optimize store operations in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to continuously enhancing store performance by diligently monitoring and analyzing operational data. The District Manager will be responsible for proposing effective improvement actions and overseeing their implementation, ensuring alignment with senior management directives and overall organizational objectives. The position also involves coordinating various internal functions to foster and maintain strategic synergies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper conservation, utilization, and profitability of store assets within the country.
• Guarantee regular store visits to assigned stores to monitor operations and standards.
• Support the development of the national concept and oversee its consistent application across the country.
• Ensure the rigorous implementation of MAF Retail corporate policies.
• Guarantee the correct implementation of all relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the operating country.
• Ensure the effective application of the product assortment structure and maintain high quality in product presentation.
• Support new projects through all their phases and coordinate synergies between different functions.
• Ensure the promotional image is consistently maintained for all assigned stores.
• Assist with the implementation of the performance management process by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback and inputs to senior management.
• Provide essential inputs on training needs and coordinate with the Human Capital department to ensure the facilitation of required training programs.

Required Experience

Candidates for the District Manager position must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in retail management or a similar leadership role, demonstrating a proven track record in improving operational performance and managing multiple retail units.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
