Risk Management Analyst

About the Role

stc is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and managing Technology Risk Management to ensure high performance standards, continuous improvement, and effective risk mitigation plans. The role serves as a center of excellence for stc, providing risk management guidance and defining goals in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to act as the unit's risk champion, facilitating and implementing risk and business continuity strategies. This involves coordinating with enterprise risk management to ensure that frameworks, methodologies, processes, procedures, and requirements are effectively applied within the unit. The analyst will play a key role in identifying and mitigating various business risks.

Core Responsibilities

• Represent and act as the unit risk champion to facilitate and implement risks and business continuity strategy, framework, methodologies, processes, procedures, and requirements in coordination with enterprise risk management.
• Identify business risks related to the unit (financial, operational, technical, and regulatory) with unit sector stakeholders and ensure well-defined risk mitigation plans are in place as per the Enterprise Risk Management framework and guidelines.
• Develop and update the unit's business continuity and risk mitigation plans for identified business risks, providing required periodic or ad-hoc reports to enterprise risk management.
• Lead engagement with unit sector stakeholders to define the internal control register and report required progress and updates to enterprise risk management.
• Ensure risk frameworks and practices are developed and applied consistently and coherently within the unit in accordance with the GRC framework and guidelines set by corporate controlling functions.
