About Esnad Contracting and the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a dedicated Roads Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing critical road and infrastructure construction projects, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to supervise all aspects of road and infrastructure construction works. The Roads Engineer will ensure that all project activities are executed precisely according to approved drawings, specifications, established quality standards, and overall project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, IFC drawings, and project specifications.
• Supervise various road and infrastructure works, including earthworks, pavement construction, drainage systems, and utility networks.
• Monitor daily site activities, track work progress, manage manpower allocation, and oversee subcontractors.
• Coordinate effectively with Survey, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and other Project teams.
• Ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, method statements, quality control procedures, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Attend inspections with clients and consultants, and diligently follow up on technical comments and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Prepare comprehensive daily and weekly progress reports, providing essential support for project delivery.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Roads Engineer position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in road and infrastructure construction supervision.

Work Setting

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic construction environment.
