About the Safety Officer Role

Alkhorayef Industries Company is seeking a Safety Officer to join its operations in Riyadh. This full-time position will support the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSE/QHSE) programs. The role is crucial in fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards across the company's activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare HSE reports and maintain safety records and documentation.
• Ensure the readiness of safety equipment, fire protection systems, and first aid facilities.
• Deliver safety awareness and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local HSE regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HSE/QHSE roles.
• Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and HSE regulations.
• Fluent English proficiency is required.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong reporting capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Possession of NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is considered an advantage for candidates.
