Role Overview

DMG Events is seeking a Sales Manager, Saudi Construction Cluster (Saudi National), for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is primarily responsible for driving revenue through exhibition stands, sponsorship, and branding opportunities for established brands within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage revenue generation for exhibition stands and sponsorship packages to achieve agreed sales targets for assigned events.
• Sell exhibition space and sponsorships in line with set targets to ensure revenue budgets are met.
• Collaborate with the Sales Director to support the management of overseas sales agents for exhibition stands and sponsorships, ensuring target achievement.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities.
• Monitor sales figures and provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to senior management on show and sponsorship progress.
• Submit a weekly report to the Sales Director detailing activities and forecasts.
• Regularly review competitive publications and exhibitions to identify new leads and maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain consistent contact and visit existing and potential clients to develop current and new business.
• Cultivate relationships with current and new associations and organizations to gain support in relevant industries.
• Attend exhibitions and other events to engage with current clients and develop relationships with potential clients.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through organic growth and new product development to maximize revenue.
• Establish strong relationships within the marketplace to identify new business and acquisition opportunities.
• Assist the Sales Director and Marketing Manager in developing marketing strategies to maximize exhibitor and visitor attendance.
• Work closely with the accounts department on collections for exhibitor sales.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients and partners across various mediums, including phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to apply a consultative sales approach.
• Highly motivated and ambitious, with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility for achieving optimal outcomes.
• Proficiency in working towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and using them as a tool to meet and exceed targets.
• Adaptable and collaborative, capable of working effectively with colleagues across the team.
