Senior Accountant

About the Role

Ultimate Peaks is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) function for its global customer base. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and requires 3-5 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely invoice delivery, effective collections, strong cash flow, and managing bad debt risk while maintaining customer relationships across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive reviews of global customer aging balances and identify accounts exceeding contractual terms.
• Monitor aging, achieve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) targets, and meet collection Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Forecast short-term and long-term cash inflows and prepare management reports.
• Ensure invoice accuracy and compliance with local and international tax/VAT regulations, including timely delivery with customer-specific supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with customers and the Billing team regarding invoice and debit/credit note queries.
• Execute a structured collections process in compliance with the company’s Credit and Collection Policy, including follow-ups via email, phone, and virtual meetings.
• Track customer payments against due dates, follow up on overdue accounts, and ensure accurate payment application, account reconciliation, and periodic balance confirmations.
• Identify potential cash flow risks and implement mitigation plans, coordinating with Sales, Billing, and customers to accelerate collections.
• Negotiate payment plans with customers in default and resolve/escalate billing disputes in coordination with relevant departments.
• Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing global customers using financial information, trade references, and credit reports.
• Establish and maintain credit limits and payment terms in line with company policy and regional risk assessments, flagging high-risk accounts to leadership.
• Define Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), and internal controls for AR processes, ensuring compliance.
• Maintain audit readiness, support internal and external audits, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary AR contact for key global customers, auditors, and senior Finance stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly AR reports covering aging, cash forecasts, bad debt provisions, and regional customer performance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Treasury to improve working capital and cash flow predictability.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role, with a focus on Accounts Receivable functions. A strong understanding of global AR operations, collections, and credit risk management is essential. Experience with international tax/VAT regulations and financial reporting is also required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring engagement with a global customer base across multiple countries and time zones. The role involves close coordination with various internal departments including Sales, Billing, Operations, Finance, and Treasury.
