About the Senior Internal Auditor Role

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Internal Audit Department in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5 to 10 years of experience in internal audit or related financial control roles. The ideal candidate will be highly ethical, independent, and possess strong auditing capabilities, demonstrating the potential for future leadership within the department. A commitment to improving internal control and governance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute comprehensive internal audit engagements from start to finish.
• Assess the effectiveness and adequacy of internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various departments and foster productive professional relationships.
• Prepare detailed and high-quality audit reports that include well-supported observations and practical recommendations.
• Contribute to departmental risk assessments and assist in the development of the annual audit plan.
• Support the mentoring of junior auditors and promote a robust audit culture.
• Ensure timely follow-up on audit recommendations to verify their effective implementation.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold uncompromising ethical standards and integrity.
• Be available for domestic travel to various sites across Saudi Arabia as required.
• Commit to working extended hours during critical audit periods.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be Saudi national.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal audit or relevant financial control roles.
• Demonstrated confidence in communication and decision-making.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel within the Kingdom and commit to extended working hours when necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Attributes

• Pursuing or holding professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, SOCPA, or CFE.
• Experience auditing within facility management, service industries, or complex operational environments.
• Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and accurately assess risks.
• A forward-thinking approach with the vision to grow into future leadership roles within the audit department.
• Experience utilizing ERP systems or audit software tools is considered an advantage.
• A proven history of delivering value-adding audit recommendations.
