Senior Learning and Advisory Specialist

About the Role

Fragomen is seeking a Senior Learning and Advisory Specialist to contribute to the development and delivery of knowledge management, business advisory, and government advisory work across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. This permanent role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The specialist will deliver consulting and advisory services and facilitate internal and external knowledge-sharing sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, update, and publish content related to immigration, mobility, and regional regulatory frameworks.
• Research applicable regulatory frameworks and monitor legislative, policy, and procedural developments across the MENA region.
• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to obtain, provide, and validate information, particularly concerning the practical implementation of regulatory requirements and government processes.
• Conduct regular quality-control reviews of content, products, and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform strategic analysis of regulatory frameworks, including preparing international benchmarking studies and policy papers.
• Contribute to business advisory projects such as compliance reviews, policy drafting, and client training.
• Contribute to government advisory projects, including legislative analysis, stakeholder engagement, and preparation of recommendations.
• Utilize digital tools and proprietary systems for efficient information management and storage.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of client and internal presentations, training programs, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Draft thought-leadership materials, client communications, articles, and presentations.
• Support business development activities, including identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and represent the team at conferences and client meetings.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams, ensuring clear understanding and management of dependencies and deadlines.
• Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, document actions, and contribute to project plans.
• Support project delivery by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate time records and project tracking.
• Undertake administrative responsibilities for team operations.

Team and Work Environment

The Senior Learning and Advisory Specialist will be part of the MENA Learning & Advisory Hub, a specialized, regionally based team within the broader Fragomen Knowledge Group. The team collaborates with Fragomen’s practices and Subject Matter Experts across the MENA region and with colleagues from the Knowledge Group on shared initiatives and content development. The team focuses on Knowledge Management and Awareness, Business Advisory, and Government Advisory, translating complex regulatory developments into actionable information and advice. The role may involve work in Riyadh and Al Khobar.
