The Opportunity: Senior Logistics Manager

Mace is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to join its full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a focus on a significant development in Abha. This role is integral to a transformative mixed-use development designed to create a world-class destination. The project integrates residential, commercial, hospitality, leisure, and public realm components, supporting the region’s future vision and growth aspirations.

Project Context

This large-scale development offers the opportunity to work within an integrated, multidisciplinary team. The project is set to contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and establish a lasting legacy for the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support the project delivery team, ensuring alignment of resources, capabilities, and performance with contractual commitments and project objectives.
• Foster trusted relationships with clients, principal contractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders to promote collaboration and achieve positive project outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day project delivery, ensuring activities are planned, coordinated, and executed safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
• Provide clear oversight of project performance, budgets, costs, risks, and change control, proactively identifying opportunities and mitigating challenges.
• Champion effective communication through insightful progress updates, performance reporting, and forward planning activities.
• Promote a culture of health, safety, wellbeing, and environmental responsibility, ensuring compliance and best practice across all operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation, identifying smarter ways of working to enhance productivity, service quality, and client value.
• Ensure effective management of logistics, assets, equipment, and site support activities, maintaining operational excellence throughout project delivery.
• Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree qualification.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, temporary works, and logistics planning.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Possession of necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, as required for immigration and client approval.

Work Environment

This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with direct involvement in the Abha development. The position requires working within an integrated, multidisciplinary team on a large-scale project.
