About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Scheduling to join its team in Riyadh. This role is within the Hospitality Business Unit, which is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of hotel assets as part of the Qiddiya City project. These assets span various hotel categories, from economy to ultra-luxury, intended for management by both local and international operators.

Role Context and Responsibilities

In this full-time position, the Senior Manager - Scheduling will oversee the scheduling function for multiple hospitality projects. The primary objective is to ensure that project timelines are met and resources are utilized efficiently. This involves close collaboration with a professional team to deliver innovative experiences and ensure the successful completion of assets within the Hospitality portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, defining key milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
  • Analyzing schedules to identify potential risks, delays, and critical paths, and proposing solutions for timely delivery.
  • Facilitating collaboration between the central Development Unit, Hospitality development managers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive scheduling across all project phases.
  • Regularly updating schedules based on project progress, scope changes, and resource availability, providing real-time insights to senior management.
  • Conducting schedule reviews using performance metrics to track progress and recovery strategies related to schedule adherence.
  • Promoting proactive communication within project teams to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Implementing best practices in scheduling and leveraging advanced scheduling software to enhance planning and execution processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in scheduling or project management roles, with a preference for experience in the hospitality sector, including the construction stage.
  • Preference will be given to candidates holding Membership of the Association of Planning Engineers, Certified Planning Engineer, or a similar certification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
  • An in-depth understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of Saudi Arabia's significant city development projects.
