About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is developing a significant entertainment, cultural, and lifestyle destination in the Riyadh Province, Saudi Arabia. To support this ambitious project, the company is seeking a Senior Manager – Strategic Supplier Relationship Management. This role is critical for ensuring the success and sustainability of the giga project by fostering robust strategic supplier partnerships.

Role Overview

The Senior Manager – Strategic Supplier Relationship Management will lead and enhance the SRM function. This senior leadership position involves overseeing the strategic direction, execution, and continuous improvement of the SRM program. The objective is to drive innovation, resilience, and value creation across the supply chain network. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing complex supplier ecosystems and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and advocate for the enterprise-wide SRM strategy, aligning it with corporate objectives and Vision 2030 goals.
  • Provide leadership on supplier engagement, risk mitigation, and governance frameworks to senior executives.
  • Drive organizational transformation to integrate strategic SRM practices.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of SRM frameworks, policies, and tools, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Oversee supplier segmentation, risk assessments, performance measurement, and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure the integration of SRM initiatives with procurement, risk, legal, finance, and operational departments.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers to foster innovation and mutual value.
  • Guide cross-functional teams in executing joint business plans and strategic initiatives with key suppliers.
  • Address complex supplier performance, risk, and compliance issues with balanced leadership.
  • Facilitate executive forums, including Quarterly Business Reviews and SRM steering committees.
  • Influence and advise senior leaders on adopting consistent SRM governance models and decision frameworks.
  • Champion transparency, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across the supplier ecosystem.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing SRM team, promoting collaboration and professional growth.
  • Promote skill development initiatives and succession planning within the team.
  • Drive initiatives that leverage supplier partnerships for cost efficiencies, service excellence, and sustainability benefits.
  • Champion ESG and digital transformation efforts aligned with organizational strategy.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, including strategic supplier relationship management, procurement, supply chain management, or related fields within complex and multinational environments.
  • An advanced degree such as an MBA or Master’s in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPM are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and suppliers at executive levels.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience in giga projects or large-scale developments is considered an advantage.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The role requires a significant level of experience and strategic oversight within a dynamic project environment.
