About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanic to join its operational team in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the mechanical integrity and efficient operation of the company's production units.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanic is responsible for executing comprehensive mechanical maintenance activities, encompassing routine, preventive, and emergency repairs. This role ensures that all production equipment operates within specified parameters, contributing directly to the overall efficiency and reliability of the plant's operations. Adherence to established safety protocols is a fundamental aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in strict accordance with approved company policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure they operate within designated operational limits, promptly reporting any observations that may impact equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks, carrying out necessary preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure the correct disposal of all maintenance-related waste.
• Execute various mechanical repair tasks, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and optimal efficiency.
• Comply rigorously with all safety procedures before commencing any work, including verifying the necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks and duties as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required Capabilities

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of mechanical systems and proven expertise in industrial maintenance practices. This includes the ability to diagnose complex mechanical issues, perform precise repairs, and maintain a high standard of operational safety.
