Senior Project Risk Engineer

About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Risk Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing and overseeing all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation, with a strong focus on risk management within construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation for various projects.
• Facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to identify, assess, and evaluate risk issues across different project lifecycle phases.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive risk management plans for construction projects, detailing processes for risk mitigation, identification, and evaluation.
• Regularly facilitate meetings with clients, consultants, and other management teams.
• Predict potential financial liability for the Division based on data from various sources.
• Handle costs, claims related to cost and time, change order management, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, within budget, to quality standards, and within the agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.
• Maintain continuous compliance with Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Required Experience and Background

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of experience in project risk management within the construction sector. A strong background in pre-construction management is essential, including expertise in contract management, procurement, tendering, estimating, and cost control. The role also requires a good working knowledge of schedule management, covering the sequence of activities from pre-design through design development, construction, and closeout.
