About the Role

Hays is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a professional with substantial experience in QA methodologies and automation to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement QA automation frameworks.
Conduct API testing and performance testing using industry-standard tools.
Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities in systems.
Test microservices and distributed systems to ensure robust functionality.
Integrate QA processes within CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of 5 years of QA experience.
Strong background in QA Automation Frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Python.
Experience with at least one of the following languages: Go, C++, or Rust.
Strong experience in API Testing.
Experience testing Microservices and Distributed Systems.
Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
Experience with Postman.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong experience in Performance Testing using tools such as k6 or JMeter.
Experience with Security Testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SAST / DAST.
Experience with SonarQube Quality Gates.
Strong understanding of SIT, FAT, and UAT.
Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Attributes

Experience working in highly regulated or secure environments.
Experience with air-gapped/on-premise infrastructure.
Knowledge of ISO 27001 and cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
