Senior Specialist Operational Readiness DA

About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Specialist, Operational Readiness DA, to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of operational readiness activities for assigned assets and programs. The specialist will translate readiness requirements into actionable plans, coordinate stakeholders, monitor progress, and facilitate the safe and timely transition from project delivery to operational status.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational readiness plans, checklists, trackers, and supporting documentation for designated workstreams.
• Coordinate readiness activities across various functions including operations, projects, facilities, technology, security, safety, and commercial.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions, escalating items that may impact operational activation.
• Support the review of designs, asset handover requirements, operating concepts, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), staffing, training, Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E), and mobilization plans.
• Coordinate permit, license, and regulatory readiness requirements with internal teams and external parties.
• Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, meeting packs, action logs, and management updates.
• Validate evidence of readiness and support inspections, testing, commissioning, rehearsals, and operational trials.
• Maintain document control, ensuring readiness records are accurate, complete, and traceable.
• Facilitate workshops and follow up on actions with workstream owners to achieve agreed completion dates.
• Identify opportunities to improve readiness processes, templates, and reporting practices.
• Support lessons learned, post-opening reviews, and the transition of outstanding actions into business-as-usual ownership.
• Perform other operational readiness duties as assigned by the line manager.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in operational readiness or a similar field. The position requires a professional who can effectively manage complex coordination efforts and ensure a smooth transition from project to operational phases.
