About Parsons and the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Senior Survey Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the Qiddiya Project, focusing on leading and managing all surveying activities for large-scale infrastructure and construction initiatives.

Role Purpose

The Senior Survey Manager is responsible for overseeing all surveying operations across diverse infrastructure and construction projects. This involves supervising survey teams, ensuring data accuracy, managing geospatial information, and guaranteeing compliance with project specifications and local regulations. The role is crucial for delivering precise site layouts, measurements, and land assessments for high-profile construction and consultancy projects throughout Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of surveying strategies for large-scale construction projects.
  • Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to define survey requirements, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop standards and procedures for surveying activities across multiple project sites.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop survey teams, including assistants and technicians, allocating resources effectively to meet project milestones and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee topographic, cadastral, geodetic, and construction staking surveys, ensuring the accuracy and quality of survey data, maps, and reports.
  • Approve final survey deliverables and ensure alignment with design and construction needs.
  • Review and validate survey methodologies, equipment usage, and software applications.
  • Resolve complex surveying issues, such as land boundary disputes or inconsistencies in topographic data.
  • Ensure all surveying work complies with local Saudi regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, including benchmarks, control points, and survey logs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for survey-related matters, presenting findings, updates, and technical reports to clients, consultants, and government authorities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying management within infrastructure and construction projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing survey teams and resources.
  • Proven ability to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Technical Expertise

Candidates should possess strong technical proficiency in various surveying methodologies and equipment, including:

  • GPS, total stations, drones, and 3D scanning technologies.
  • Surveying software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and Leica.

Location and Employment Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
