The Role

Alfanar is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing tax-related activities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepare, review, and submit federal, state, and local tax returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of various tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, and property tax.
• Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed on updates to tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the implications of new tax legislation and emerging trends.
• Interpret tax regulations and provide actionable recommendations based on current laws.
• Support the development of tax-efficient strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maintaining compliance.
• Assist in preparing tax projections and forecasts to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize tax functions and enhance overall compliance.
• Assist in managing tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with tax authorities.

Experience Required
