The Role: Senior Transport Planner

AECOM is seeking a Senior Transport Planner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves developing and evaluating plans and criteria for various projects, assessing the feasibility of proposed planning products, and acting as a staff advisor on technical specialties. The role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in transport planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate plans and criteria for projects and activities to be executed by others.
• Assess the feasibility and soundness of proposed planning products.
• Serve as a staff advisor and consultant for technical specialties, facility types, industries, equipment, or program functions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Oversee specialized planning functions, including large-scale new development proposals and environmental studies.
• Provide overall management for IE-related planning issues.
• Advise the Planning Director on all planning-related matters.
• Advise various councils, boards, commissions, and elected officials on planning-related issues.
• Evaluate operations and activities within assigned responsibilities.
• Prepare reports on operations and activities, recommending improvements and modifications.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in transport planning.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and evaluate complex plans and criteria.
• Experience in assessing the feasibility and soundness of planning proposals.
• Proficiency in monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
