Riverbed Technology is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and involves serving as a technical subject matter expert throughout the sales process, collaborating with sales teams, and driving technical engagements with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert, managing pre-sales activities including technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concept projects.
• Collaborate with the Sales team, jointly owning the sales cycle and account plan.
• Drive deeper engagement within accounts by identifying requirements for additional resources, understanding customer alternatives, and recognizing potential internal sponsors.
• Document customer business and technical requirements to create value-based proposals addressing business drivers and pain points, guiding the technical sales cycle towards a close.
• Build strong relationships with key contacts in the partner ecosystem, working with the Channel Sales team to oversee product and solutions training and enablement for partners.

Qualifications and Experience

• Several years (5-10) of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, or Enterprise IT Consulting.
• Hands-on experience in DEX/EUEM/End User Experience Monitoring or related digital workplace technologies.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including endpoints, applications, networks, and hybrid/cloud architectures.
• Familiarity with observability platforms, ITSM, endpoint management, or performance monitoring solutions.
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt a broad enterprise platform beyond core specialization.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to connect technical insights to business outcomes.
• Comfortable engaging with both deep technical audiences and C-level stakeholders.
• Confident presenter with excellent storytelling and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, self-driven mindset.
• Structured, reliable, and customer-focused approach in complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to travel up to approximately 40%.
