Solaiman A. ElKhereiji (SAK) Engineering Consultant Company, a leading Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) consultancy with over 40 years of experience, is seeking a Sr. BIM Engineer. The company is recognized for its work in designing and supervising hospitality, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects, with a commitment to sustainable design and Gold LEED certification standards. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a professional with over 10 years of experience.

Project Context

The Sr. BIM Engineer will lead a high-profile heritage project in Riyadh, integral to Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative. This project includes mixed-use buildings, academies, a mud-brick cinema with underground parking, a traditional Najdi-style mosque, and a museum designed to reflect Saudi heritage. The role involves working onsite and reporting to the Chief RE/Resident Engineers, the Project Management Consultant (PMC), and the Client. The Sr. BIM Engineer will drive collaboration, ensure quality standards, and contribute to the project's design and execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead, manage, and mentor the onsite project team to ensure collaboration and alignment with project goals.
2. Coordinate with stakeholders, including PMC, Client, and contractors, to advance project milestones and resolve technical issues.
3. Oversee the implementation of BIM protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project technical requirements.
4. Utilize Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and to support project decision-making.
5. Perform regular quality checks on BIM deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
6. Establish and maintain quality control procedures for all BIM-related project documentation.
7. Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to BIM standards and coordinate the resolution of design conflicts.
8. Facilitate cross-disciplinary reviews to verify model and drawing alignment with project goals and specifications.
9. Maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders, including PMC, Client representatives, contractors, and other consultants.
10. Prepare and present progress reports detailing technical challenges, solutions, and project milestones.
11. Ensure all project deliverables comply with LEED certification standards, prioritizing sustainability.
12. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and minimize delays.
13. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected challenges and complex project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM protocols and industry standards.
• Knowledge of LEED certification standards.

Work Environment and Joining Time

This is an onsite, full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The expected joining time for this role is 1 to 2 weeks.
