About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Sr. Engineer Electrical Maintenance, Cables to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to oversee and manage electrical maintenance activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Sr. Engineer Electrical Maintenance, Cables will be responsible for a range of critical functions to maintain operational excellence:

Overseeing and managing all electrical maintenance activities, including the development and implementation of maintenance procedures.
Diagnosing and resolving electrical maintenance issues to minimize downtime and ensure production targets are met.
Providing technical support for the prompt resolution of unplanned machine breakdowns and ensuring swift return to production.
Planning and supervising preventive maintenance to preserve machine lifetime and ensure reliability, adhering to structured maintenance plans.
Managing spare parts inventory, including requesting and controlling electrical spare parts to support timely maintenance tasks while adhering to cost reduction objectives.
Monitoring the value of spare parts stock and maintaining it within agreed-upon target values.
Designing and executing modifications for production machines to address major problems, enhance productivity, or introduce new product generations.
Planning and overseeing electrical installation work for new machines and coordinating relocation efforts with the mechanical team.

Team Leadership and Development

This role involves significant team management responsibilities:

Managing, training, and coordinating the electrical maintenance team for efficient work execution.
Providing leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates.
Delegating tasks effectively and ensuring fair distribution to maintain team morale and motivation.
Recording work in SAP to maintain a comprehensive machine history and track working times.

Operational Excellence and Compliance

The position requires a focus on operational efficiency, problem-solving, and adherence to standards:

Performing planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively for cost and time efficiency.
Providing periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
Resolving related problems and escalating complex operational issues as needed.
Coordinating well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, and seeking automation opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls.
