Role Overview: Store Manager

Carrefour Saudi Arabia, a Majid Al Futtaim company, is seeking a dedicated Store Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is critical for driving sales performance, maximizing store profitability, and upholding the brand and company image. The Store Manager is fully accountable for the daily operations of the store and its team, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives of Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store management and team leadership. Primary responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the highest levels of customer service are consistently delivered by the entire store team.
• Developing and implementing innovative strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Monitoring brand performance, managing stock levels, and analyzing best-selling and slow-moving inventory to formulate action plans for sales growth.
• Maintaining accountability for the compliance of subordinates with established company policies, procedures, and standards, covering areas such as financial management, asset protection, personnel practices, security protocols, sales processes, and accurate record-keeping.
• Coaching, training, and mentoring store teams to elevate customer service standards through comprehensive brand and product knowledge, alongside a deep understanding of retail operations.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, and promptly escalating any concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team.
• Planning, organizing, and executing all in-store operational processes, including cash intake and handling, efficient stockroom management, and precise stock-take administration.
• Providing critical analytical feedback to the Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments concerning product assortment, pricing strategies, competitive activities, and market opportunities.

Leadership and Operational Excellence

This role demands strong leadership to foster a high-performing team and ensure seamless store operations. The Store Manager is responsible for the continuous development of store personnel, enhancing their product knowledge and retail acumen to consistently deliver superior customer service. Furthermore, the role involves meticulous planning and execution of all in-store processes, from managing cash operations to overseeing stockroom efficiency and inventory control, ensuring operational compliance and smooth daily functioning.

Strategic Contribution and Compliance

The Store Manager plays a vital role in the strategic performance of the store by tracking brand performance and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for growth and profitability. This includes proactive management of stock levels and providing insightful feedback to central departments on product, pricing, and market dynamics.
