Store Manager

About the Role

MAJID AL FUTTAIM is seeking a Store Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for overseeing supermarket operations to ensure maximum sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, while also managing stock effectively and driving business growth. The Store Manager will implement action plans for continuous improvement within the assigned supermarket.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the implementation of MAF Retail’s supermarket plans in alignment with strategies and procedures, in collaboration with the Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to measure and evaluate commercial performance, providing recommendations to increase profitability and sales turnover.
• Maximize sales and profitability by controlling costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Initiate and ensure the application of comparative studies between departments to contribute to commercial performance efficiency.
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out-of-stock items, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket’s assets.
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and the supermarket's safety and security.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Store Manager in the supermarket industry.
• Experience in Retail is required.
• Strong people and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.

Location

This position is based in Riyadh. Candidates from outside the area must be willing to relocate to Riyadh.
