Store Manager

About the Role

Apparel Group is seeking a Store Manager to oversee retail operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for achieving company objectives, ensuring high levels of customer service, and maximizing sales through effective staff management and operational excellence. The role requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Position Objective

The primary objective of the Store Manager is to ensure the achievement of company sales targets and operational standards. This involves leading retail staff to provide excellent customer service, implementing company and brand operating procedures, and promoting the loyalty program to drive repeat sales. The Store Manager will also provide crucial feedback on employees and products to the Area and Operations Managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Brief and guide staff on daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and fashion trends to effectively respond to customer needs and facilitate suggestive selling across group brands.
• Ensure minimal stock loss and manage stockrooms efficiently.
• Implement and ensure adherence to brand and company policies and operating procedures.
• Apply creative techniques to achieve or exceed store sales targets.
• Ensure required stock levels are maintained to maximize sales.
• Conduct weekly audits of store administration and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage daily staff rosters, leave requests, and grievances.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards as per set guidelines.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat sales.
• Supervise store operations and provide feedback to the Area Manager regarding employees and products.
• Ensure constant awareness and vigilance regarding store security.
• Assume end-to-end responsibility for all store operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in retail management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve company objectives and maximize sales.
• Strong understanding of retail operating procedures and brand standards.
• Proficiency in managing retail staff, including briefing, guiding, and addressing grievances.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising standards.
• Ability to maintain up-to-date product knowledge and fashion trends.
• Physically fit to stand for extended hours and perform heavy lifting as required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring on-site presence within a retail store environment. The role involves direct interaction with customers and managing a team of retail staff.
