About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking a full-time Storekeeper/Receiving professional with 0-1 years of experience to join their team. This role is open to Saudi nationals only.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking it appropriately for facility placement and delivering it to the correct department.
• Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Notify management of low stock levels in a timely manner.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and rotate stock.
• Inspect deliveries, verifying freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality of case lots.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling policies and procedures in food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.

General Duties and Professional Conduct

• Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Communicate with guests and colleagues using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• No related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific licenses or certifications are listed as mandatory.

Physical Demands and Abilities

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Dexterity to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps.
• Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
