About the Role

Deloitte is seeking a Strategy Senior Consultant/Manager/Senior Manager to join its Monitor Deloitte practice in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on providing strategic advisory services within the financial services sector.

Role Context and Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to delivering strategic insights and solutions for financial services clients. Your responsibilities will include developing market entry, growth, product, segment, and digital financial services strategies. You will also be involved in assessing banking and payments revenue pools, preparing business cases and financial projections, and translating strategic opportunities into clear investment cases. A key aspect of the role involves developing practical strategy-to-execution roadmaps and supporting senior client discussions and executive-level presentations.

Core Experience Requirements

• Financial services strategy experience, with a preference for banking, payments, digital banking, wallets, or FinTech.
• Exposure to the GCC banking market, including understanding of regional banks, regulators, customer segments, product dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
• Experience in developing various financial services strategies (market entry, growth, product, segment, digital).
• Ability to assess banking and payments revenue pools and quantify opportunities.
• Experience preparing business cases and financial projections for financial services entities.
• Understanding of key banking products and their economics.
• Capability to translate strategic opportunities into investment cases, detailing revenue potential, costs, assumptions, risks, and priorities.
• Awareness of technology and platform cost implications in digital financial services.
• Experience in developing strategy-to-execution roadmaps, including sequencing, dependencies, and investment requirements.
• Experience supporting senior client discussions and presentations.

Required Skills and Capabilities

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to structure ambiguous strategic questions.
• Commercial judgment, connecting market opportunity, customer needs, product economics, and investment requirements.
• Strong quantitative skills, including market sizing, revenue modeling, business case development, and scenario analysis.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of creating senior-level storylines and client-ready outputs.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across strategy, operations, technology, regulatory, risk, and product.
• Comfort working in fast-paced proposal and delivery environments across multiple GCC markets.
• Ability to independently own workstreams, manage team members, and engage senior stakeholders.

Preferred Background

• Strategy consulting experience with a focus on financial services in the GCC.
• In-house strategy, digital, product, or corporate development roles within banks, FinTechs, payment companies, or digital financial services platforms.
• Prior project experience in digital banking, wallets, payments, FinTech, market entry, revenue pools, product strategy, or business cases.
• Exposure to GCC markets, particularly the UAE, KSA, Qatar, or the broader Middle East financial services sector.
• Understanding of Islamic banking, remittances, SME banking, wealth, cards, payments, or digital lending propositions.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires working in fast-paced environments across multiple GCC markets.
