About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Studio Facilities and Asset Manager for its Film Studio in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves overseeing the operational aspects of the studio's physical assets, ensuring all facilities are safe, functional, compliant, and ready for production. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Purpose

The Studio Facilities and Asset Manager serves as the operational owner of the Film Studio’s physical assets. This includes soundstages, workshops, backlots, offices, utilities, and supporting infrastructure. The primary objective is to ensure these assets remain safe, functional, compliant, and production-ready for all studio operations, from activation to steady-state.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all studio facilities, including soundstages, workshops, backlots, offices, support spaces, and infrastructure, remain operational and production-ready.
  • Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance activities, covering MEP services, utilities, cleaning, waste management, and general site upkeep.
  • Manage facilities contractors, technical service providers, and specialist vendors, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, scope, quality, and response standards.
  • Maintain asset registers, maintenance schedules, condition reports, lifecycle plans, and performance dashboards.
  • Coordinate facilities readiness requirements for productions, tenants, workshops, events, and temporary installations.
  • Translate production and tenant requirements into detailed plans for facilities, utilities, logistics, site access, and operational readiness.
  • Support development-to-operations handover, commissioning close-out, defects tracking, and asset acceptance activities.
  • Monitor asset condition, equipment performance, service disruptions, and recurring maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with the HSE team to ensure facilities operations comply with safety requirements and statutory obligations.
  • Collaborate with Security, IT, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Enablement teams on operational dependencies and service continuity.
  • Support budget planning, maintenance cost tracking, asset lifecycle assumptions, and facilities-related procurement requirements.
  • Implement operating procedures, readiness checklists, inspection routines, and escalation protocols for facilities services.
  • Manage facilities-related incident reporting, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Prepare operational reports, maintenance dashboards, vendor performance updates, and asset performance insights for leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reliability, cost efficiency, sustainability, and service quality across studio assets.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Facility uptime and production readiness rate.
  • Preventive maintenance completion rate.
  • Reactive maintenance response and closure time.
  • Vendor SLA compliance.
  • Asset condition and lifecycle tracking accuracy.
  • Number of unresolved facility-related incidents.
  • Budget adherence for facilities operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in facilities management, asset management, or a similar operational role, preferably within a studio or large-scale production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex physical assets and infrastructure.
  • Experience with vendor coordination, maintenance planning, and operational readiness.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, within the dynamic environment of Qiddiya Investment Company's Film Studio. The role involves working across various studio facilities and coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
