About the Opportunity

OVI is recruiting on behalf of its client, a prominent Tier 1 Bank located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a Techno Functional Compliance Consultant. This contract position requires an immediate start and is initially for a three-month period, with a strong likelihood of extension based on project needs and performance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting critical compliance initiatives within the banking sector.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive professional who possesses a robust blend of compliance expertise and technical data skills. This position is central to enhancing system optimisation and driving regulatory change initiatives within a fast-paced banking environment. The consultant will be expected to contribute significantly to the bank's efforts in maintaining a strong compliance posture and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for various financial crime platforms, including but not limited to Actimize, SAS AML, or Fircosoft.
• Execute data extraction, analysis, and manipulation tasks from Transaction Monitoring or Sanctions Screening systems to support compliance functions.
• Utilise advanced analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI to generate reports, facilitate system optimisation, and support regulatory change projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in a similar techno-functional role, preferably within the banking or financial services compliance domain.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with leading financial crime platforms.
• Proven strong skills in data extraction, manipulation, data modelling, and comprehensive data analysis.

Essential Technical Proficiencies

• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and data management.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, and automation.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.

Contract Terms and Location

This is a full-time contract position based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The initial contract duration is three months, with a high probability of extension. The compensation for this role is between 20,000 and 25,000 SAR per month. Candidates must be available for an immediate start.
