About the Role

HR International is seeking an experienced Thermal Design Engineer for contract roles in Riyadh. This position will involve contributing to projects within the Oil & Gas sector, requiring a strong understanding of thermal design principles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing heat exchanger selection, sizing, and thermal design utilizing HTRI software.
• Conducting material selection and design optimization for thermal equipment.
• Executing vibration analysis and developing mitigation solutions.
• Evaluating the performance of heat exchangers under various operating conditions.

Technical Expertise and Equipment Experience

A comprehensive understanding of ASME and TEMA codes is essential for this role. The engineer will be expected to work with a range of heat exchange equipment, including:

• Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers
• Thermosyphon Reboilers
• Kettle Reboilers
• Sulphur Condensers
• Waste Heat Boilers
• Plate Heat Exchangers
• Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers

Required Experience

Candidates must possess over 10 years of relevant experience. Preferred experience includes working within the Oil & Gas industry, with petrochemical experience being acceptable. Familiarity with EPC project environments and specific Saudi Aramco projects and specifications is also advantageous.
