About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Utility Cleaner to join our full-time team in Riyadh. This role is essential in supporting various vital functions across different departments within the hotel, including the kitchen, catering, and laundry. Utility Cleaners contribute directly to maintaining the operational efficiency and cleanliness standards of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clean and fresh linen and ensure impeccable dishes for guest use.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and tools, such as dishwashers, handwashing stations, washing machines, and dryers.
• Transport dishes and linen efficiently throughout the hotel premises.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a safe working environment.

Operational Standards and Compliance

• Adhere strictly to all company policies and established procedures.
• Uphold and respect all quality standards set by the hotel.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication standards.
• Ensure continuous compliance with all operational expectations and quality benchmarks.
• Report any accidents, injuries, or hazardous working conditions to the management promptly.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by managers that align with the position's scope.

Team Collaboration and Professional Conduct

• Develop and foster positive and constructive professional relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared departmental and hotel goals.
• Listen attentively and respond appropriately to concerns or issues raised by other employees.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
• Comfortable with working in standing, sitting, and moving positions for extended periods.
• Capable of reaching objects overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping as required.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in a similar support or cleaning role.
