Faculty Positions in Global Studies

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, invites applications for full-time faculty positions within the Department of Global Studies, KFUPM Business School. We are seeking qualified candidates at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to contribute to our academic and research mission.

Required Areas of Expertise

The department is seeking candidates with expertise in the following specialized areas:

• International Law
• Public Policy
• Energy Policy
• Nonprofit Management / Nonprofit Studies
• Leadership (Corporate Leadership, Business Leadership)
• History (World/Comparative/Modern History)
• Sociology (Environmental Sociology)
• Psychology (Social/Business Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology)

Key Responsibilities

Faculty members are expected to fulfill a range of academic duties, including:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Advising and mentoring students.
• Supervising MS and PhD theses/dissertations.
• Developing funded research programs appropriate to their field of specialization.

Compensation and Benefits

KFUPM offers competitive tax-free salaries and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time faculty, including:

• Two-year renewable contract.
• Free furnished air-conditioned on-campus housing unit with free essential utilities and maintenance.
• Air ticket/s to Dammam upon appointment; final repatriation air ticket/s for up to four persons.
