About the Role at JHAH

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Dental Lab Technician to join its team in Dhahran. This full-time position involves performing a variety of specialized tasks within the dental laboratory, contributing to the fabrication and enhancement of prosthetic work.

Role Contribution and Focus

The Dental Lab Technician plays a significant role within the removable prosthodontics section. This position is central to maintaining high production levels and actively working to improve both the quality and quantity of prostheses, thereby elevating the overall standards of the Dental Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess case plans for various prosthetic requirements.
• Utilize the lost wax technique and Acrylic Injection system on a daily basis.
• Act as the primary production source for prosthetic work, fabricating all types of acrylic appliances, full and partial dentures, and stints.
• Handle simple and moderate restorative cases that require precision attachments or detailed gnathological biting procedures.
• Maintain established production levels and actively contribute to enhancing the quality and quantity of prostheses.
• Work towards improving the overall standards and efficiency of the Dental Laboratory.

Experience and Technical Skills

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience as a Dental Technician. Proficiency in techniques such as the lost wax method and Acrylic Injection system is essential. The role requires a strong technical competence in fabricating various dental prostheses and appliances.

Work Environment and Autonomy

This position operates with a high degree of independence, reflecting the recognized technical competence expected of a Dental Technician. While performing duties with minimal supervision, occasional checks on production and quality will be provided by a Senior Dental Laboratory Technician.
