Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will focus on influencing early specifications within large, long-cycle hospitality and infrastructure programs across Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. This role aims to engage key consultants and design firms upstream, prior to the Request for Quotation (RFQ) stage, to integrate Belden solutions into project architectures and standards. The objective is to secure early visibility on specification-driven programs and translate this into a qualified pre-RFQ pipeline, identifying significant projects for the Commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with key consultants and design firms to influence early project specifications.
• Shape architectural designs and technical standards to incorporate Belden solutions before the RFQ stage.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, focusing on network, Operational Technology (OT), and cybersecurity architectures during the design phase.
• Secure early visibility into long-cycle, specification-driven programs.
• Convert early program visibility into a qualified pre-RFQ pipeline.
• Identify mega projects and provide well-qualified opportunities to the Commercial teams.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering, or equivalent professional experience with a strong commercial focus.
• 5-10 years of proven experience in a commercial role, consultant engagement, specification selling, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working within a medium-to-large international organization, including operating in a matrix environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and metric-driven environment.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Proficiency in at least one other relevant language is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a global organization that values diverse perspectives and collaborative efforts.
