About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a CARDIAC CARE NURSE 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within an assigned unit in Dhahran. This full-time position is central to supporting operational processes, maintaining high standards of patient care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery.

Core Responsibilities and Strategic Contributions

The Cardiac Care Nurse 3 plays a vital role in resolving complex clinical issues and mentoring intermediate-level nurses. This position contributes to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices and participates in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency within the assigned units.

• Support operational processes, including maintaining high standards of patient care.
• Assist in resolving complex clinical issues and provide mentorship to intermediate-level nurses.

Clinical Practice and Patient Care

This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care, with a specific focus on complex cases. The nurse utilizes the nursing process comprehensively from patient admission through discharge, ensuring care is specific to the patient's age and needs.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, focusing on complex cases.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Administer Chemotherapy and Biotherapy medications following completion of required competency.
• Utilize standard guidelines and policy to assess, develop, and implement nursing care plans and evaluate outcomes for Palliative Care and Cellular Therapy patients.

Professional Development and Standards

The Cardiac Care Nurse 3 is integral to maintaining high standards of care and fostering professional growth within the nursing team. This includes adherence to clinical protocols and active participation in the Clinical Advancement Program.

• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Achieve and/or maintain the mandated activities for Level 3, requiring a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12-month cycle as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.
• Precept new hires and trainees during their probation training period and contribute recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in nursing with demonstrated experience in cardiac care.

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant nursing experience.
