About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is seeking a Lecturer in Chemistry to join the Department of Chemistry in Dhahran. This full-time position is open exclusively to Saudi nationals and involves both research and teaching responsibilities within the department. The role requires a commitment of approximately 35-40 hours per week for professional duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering teaching assignments in chemistry.
• Conducting research activities.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties as required.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department.

Qualifications and Requirements

• An earned Master’s degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time Master’s degree program with very good grades.
• A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• For degrees obtained outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a certificate equivalency is required.

Work Environment and Language of Instruction

The primary language of instruction at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals is English. The successful candidate will work within the Department of Chemistry in Dhahran, contributing to both academic and research initiatives.
