NST Instructor Quartermaster

About the Role

BAE Systems is seeking an NST Instructor – Quartermaster to deliver Naval Specialty Training curriculum. This full-time position is based in Dhahran and involves supporting various instructional activities, specifically focusing on Quartermaster elements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Naval Specialty Training curriculum, with a particular emphasis on Quartermaster-specific elements.
• Support invigilation activities during assessments.
• Provide support for remedial training activities.
• Develop and write assessment materials.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
• Prepare Trainee reports as required to meet customer specifications.

The successful candidate will operate with absolute integrity and professionalism, fulfilling all reasonable requests from the NST Management Team that align with Company business objectives.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Practical Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in the relevant specialty.
• Instructional Experience: At least two (2) years of recent instructional experience, acquired within the last six (6) years.

Desirable Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of navigation principles and chart upkeep procedures.
• Familiarity with Maritime Tactical and Administration Voice procedures.
• Proficiency in Visual Signaling Techniques, including flags and Morse code.
• Experience and knowledge of operating a working Bridge Trainer.

This is a full-time position located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, within a professional training environment focused on naval specialties.
