About the Role

Egis (KSA) is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join its infrastructure project management and construction management team in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. This is an on-site contract role where the Resident Engineer will serve as the primary technical authority and project representative, overseeing all aspects of infrastructure development from planning through completion.

Role Overview

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations across all construction activities. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to make decisive decisions within a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and site operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports documenting progress, issues, and corrective actions.
• Manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones while coordinating with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, analyze variances, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial objectives.
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and construction methodologies prior to implementation.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and minimize delays.
• Maintain organized project records, including daily logs, test reports, and compliance documentation.
• Communicate effectively with project management, clients, and regulatory authorities regarding project status and performance.
• Ensure adherence to local Saudi Arabian regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure project management and construction management.
• Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities.
