Service Advisor

About the Role

Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies Co. Ltd. is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team in Al Qassim. This full-time role involves engaging with customers to identify and confirm vehicle service needs, selling and upselling services, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service tracking. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Job Purpose

The primary purpose of the Service Advisor is to manage the customer service process from initial contact through service completion. This includes identifying service requirements, obtaining customer approvals, monitoring service progress, and updating customers on completion times. The role aims to ensure high customer satisfaction and contribute to sales revenues and profits in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and greet customers, actively listening to concerns and asking questions to identify service needs.
• Inform customers of required services and obtain their confirmation for the work to be performed.
• Estimate service costs and completion times, explain these to customers, and secure their approval.
• Prepare job cards, obtain necessary approvals, and direct technicians to commence service.
• Monitor service status with technicians to ensure timely completion as agreed with customers.
• Coordinate technician activities to ensure service work is completed correctly on the first attempt.
• Inspect completed service works for proper execution and pricing accuracy.
• Maintain and update the service tracking sheet, informing customers of their vehicle's status and readiness for pick-up.
• Identify and prioritize repeat customers, notifying the service manager for appropriate handling.
• Effectively sell necessary services to customers to enhance satisfaction and increase sales.
• Proactively upsell and promote additional critical services for vehicles to improve customer satisfaction and revenue.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for processes and practices, focusing on cost reduction and productivity.
• Assist in preparing accurate service sales reports to meet company and department standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar service advisory or customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
• Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs and effectively communicate service requirements.
• Experience in sales and upselling services.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and monitor multiple service jobs.
