About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance Helper to join its team in Medina, Almadinah Almunawwarah. This full-time position is responsible for performing minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets.
• Execute miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, which includes cleaning and lubrication.

Workplace Conduct and Safety

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Protect company assets and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to established quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Demands

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Willingness to assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds (*, A/C unit, television, dresser).
• Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.

• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None required.
