About the Role

SEVEN (Saudi Entertainment Ventures) is seeking a Senior Technician – Maintenance to join its team. This full-time role involves performing advanced-level planned maintenance, repair activities, and troubleshooting for attraction rides and devices of all types. The Senior Technician will lead work execution alongside other attraction technicians within the complex, contributing to the operational readiness of entertainment venues across various cities including Riyadh, Tabuk, Abha, Yanbu, and Medina.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to execute SEVEN’s maintenance requirements, processes, and technical pre- and post-opening requirements. This includes providing active support during the installation phase on-site, collaborating closely with contractors and manufacturers. The Senior Technician ensures that all maintenance activities adhere to international safety best practices and KSA regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of safety and operational efficiency for all attractions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute technical activities for rides and attractions, supported by the technician team and technical management.
• Perform and document planned preventive maintenance activities according to approved schedules and SEVEN’s technical maintenance requirements.
• Execute and record corrective maintenance activities on rides and attractions in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Respond to ride and attraction breakdowns, diagnose faults, and restore operations safely and efficiently.
• Verify the quality and accuracy of technicians' work, particularly on safety-critical inspections and repairs.
• Support daily ride operational readiness and contribute to achieving reliability and availability targets.
• Actively participate with Operations, Project Attraction Teams, and Project Management Consultants, maintaining close communication with ride manufacturers' representatives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, and PM checklists.
• Monitor spare parts and consumable stock requirements, providing proactive feedback to ensure availability.
• Lead and execute major annual maintenance and rehabilitation activities to ensure optimal ride performance.
• Support annual certification and recertification processes conducted by Independent Bodies (IB).
• Deliver training and maintain training records in line with Learning & Development requirements.
• Adhere to all QHSE policies, procedures, and company standards, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of attraction rides and devices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical activities and guide a team of technicians.
• Proficiency in diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions for complex mechanical and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of international safety best practices and KSA regulatory requirements related to entertainment attractions.
• Experience with asset management systems and related documentation is preferred.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This role operates within a dynamic environment, requiring close collaboration with Operations teams, Project Attraction Teams, and external contractors and manufacturers. The Senior Technician will work across various SEVEN project sites in Riyadh, Tabuk, Abha, Yanbu, and Medina, ensuring consistent application of maintenance standards and procedures. The position demands a commitment to promoting guest experience excellence while upholding the highest safety standards.
