Supervisor Engineering

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Engineering to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of various tools, appliances, and equipment within the hotel premises. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment, recommending replacements as needed.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, and meters; identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves.
• Order, mark, and stock parts and supplies, maintaining inventory and purchase order logs.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and operate power lifts.
• Complete life safety checklists, including fire-pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in the development of disaster response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
• Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure adherence to company and safety policies, report maintenance problems or hazards, and complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Work Environment

This role operates within the hospitality environment of Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Medina. The position requires adherence to company standards for guest service, including anticipating and addressing guest needs and assisting individuals with disabilities.
