About the Waiter Role

The Saudi Airlines Catering Company is seeking a dedicated Waiter to join its team in Medina. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on delivering high-quality service and maintaining operational standards within lounge environments.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure exceptional service delivery and operational efficiency within the lounge environment. The Waiter will be responsible for implementing instructions, overseeing daily service activities, and upholding the company's image through high-quality service. This position requires direct interaction with passengers and close coordination with various lounge personnel to ensure adherence to service standards and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality service to passengers, adhering to Service Level Agreements and standard greetings, particularly for First & Business Class passengers.
• Supervise and actively participate in daily service operations and passenger movements.
• Attend to passenger needs promptly and professionally.
• Prepare and submit daily reports, including inventory for store items, equipment, chemicals, and shift handovers.
• Manage lounge store items, ensuring sufficient stock for daily consumption and avoiding overstocking; monitor expiration dates and backup stock.
• Ensure timely service delivery and participate in delayed flight service as required.
• Maintain 100% hygiene results, promoting and ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards for all areas and staff.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, washing, and safekeeping of all lounge equipment; monitor equipment status and report malfunctions or damage.
• Verify that all food items received from the kitchen and main stores comply with the department food menu guide.
• Report any service deviations immediately to the Captain Waiter or immediate superior.
• Assist other lounge staff, including Receptionists, Demi Chefs de Partie, Concierges, and Housekeeping, as needed.
• Attend morning briefings and participate in team-building activities, gatherings, and meetings.
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the Regional Manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a service-oriented role, preferably within a hospitality or lounge setting.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established service standards.
• Strong commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and safety protocols.
