About the Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Door Attendant for its new property in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is part of the groundbreaking Red Sea Project, which will feature two nature-focused resorts, Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea. The role involves providing a welcoming and professional experience for guests arriving and departing the resort.

Key Responsibilities

The Door Attendant will be responsible for:

  • Extending a warm and sincere greeting to all guests upon arrival and departure, using their names and titles when possible.
  • Opening and closing vehicle and resort doors with professionalism to ensure a polished arrival experience.
  • Coordinating with the Bell Team, Valet, and Front Office to manage guest luggage and transportation needs.
  • Assisting the Valet team with parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a responsible manner.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel entrance and public areas.
  • Upholding the brand's service philosophy through every guest interaction.
  • Sharing information about the resort's nature-focused concept and the Red Sea destination.
  • Anticipating guest needs and providing proactive assistance.
  • Ensuring the safety and security of the entrance area.
  • Adhering to all Raffles and Accor hygiene, safety, and service standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury 5-star hotel or resort.
  • A valid driving license and experience with luxury vehicle handling.
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional appearance and etiquette suitable for luxury standards.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic and other languages is a significant asset.
  • Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift objects over 75 pounds as needed.
  • A positive demeanor, demonstrating empathy, emotional intelligence, and a passion for guest service.
  • Experience in a resort pre-opening environment is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

Further requirements for this role include:

  • Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening stages is beneficial.
  • A proactive and anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Tabuk and Umluj, within the Red Sea region of Saudi Arabia.
