About the Field Assistant Role

Gold and Minerals Ltd (GMCO) is seeking a Field Assistant to support its mine development operations. Established in 2009, GMCO focuses on a discovery-led approach and operates across a significant exploration land package in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Bishah and requires a commitment to supporting field operations, data collection, and logistical coordination to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and safely.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Field Assistant plays a crucial role in the success of field projects by providing essential support to field teams. This involves working in diverse environments, collaborating closely with colleagues, and adhering to high standards of safety and accuracy. The Field Assistant reports directly to the Field Supervisor and will be required to travel to various project sites as needed.

• Support field teams with data collection, sample handling, and equipment setup.
• Assist with site logistics, scheduling, and transportation coordination.
• Maintain accurate records, field notes, and daily progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and stakeholders.
• Perform data entry and basic analysis under direction.
• Adapt to changing field conditions and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

Required Qualifications and Experience
