About Red Sea Global and the Role

Red Sea Global (RSG) is developing The Red Sea destination, with its dedicated subsidiary, Red Sea Sports & Entertainment (RSSE), responsible for designing and delivering land and marine experiences. RSSE manages a diverse portfolio, including water sports through Galaxea, and plays a strategic role in promoting inclusive, accessible, and world-class sports experiences aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. The Water Sports Instructor is a full-time, site-based role located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, focused on the safe, professional, and engaging delivery of water sports activities within a luxury marine tourism environment.

Core Responsibilities

The instructor ensures guests receive high-quality instruction, guidance, and supervision across various water-based activities, upholding the highest standards of safety, service excellence, and operational discipline. Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver water sports activities and instruction in a safe, professional, and engaging manner.
• Provide clear briefings and demonstrations to guests before all activities.
• Supervise guests during all water-based activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Support the Water Sports / Dive Center Manager in daily operational requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold luxury hospitality standards at all times.
• Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and general operational readiness.
• Support the setup and operational readiness of water sports facilities, equipment, and activity areas during the pre-opening phase.
• Conduct water sports sessions, including kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkeling, wake activities, and other approved marine activities.
• Ensure all guests are properly fitted with equipment and briefed on safety procedures.
• Monitor environmental and weather conditions to ensure safe activity delivery.
• Assist in organizing daily activity schedules and guest allocations.
• Support inventory tracking and basic equipment maintenance records.

Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

A primary focus of this role is to ensure the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. Responsibilities include:

• Ensure safety is the highest priority in all water sports activities.
• Enforce compliance with all safety protocols, risk assessments, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular equipment checks and ensure all gear is safe for use.
• Maintain and inspect all water sports equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Report and escalate any equipment damage or safety concerns immediately.
• Promote environmental awareness and responsible use of marine environments.
• Ensure adherence to company and regulatory safety standards at all times.

Operational Procedures and Continuous Improvement

The Water Sports Instructor is expected to adhere to established procedures and contribute to ongoing enhancements:

• Follow all company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and equipment usage where required.
• Report any operational issues, guest concerns, or safety risks promptly to management.
• Contribute to the improvement of guest experience, safety practices, and operational efficiency.
• Support the development of new water sports experiences and activity offerings.
• Participate in training and upskilling programs as required.

Role Context and Work Environment

This role operates within a luxury marine tourism and water sports environment. It requires flexibility to work outdoors, including weekends and peak seasons, and involves direct guest interaction and hands-on activity delivery. Exposure to varying marine and weather conditions is expected, as the instructor plays a key role in delivering safe, enjoyable, and memorable guest experiences.
