About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support large-scale infrastructure projects in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on the design validation, site execution, and quality assurance of civil works, ensuring alignment with project master plans, design tolerances, and international engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily heavy civil construction activities, including bulk earthworks, grading, road networks, and utility installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review contractor submittals such as shop drawings, material specifications, and method statements for civil and structural elements to identify potential constructability issues or design conflicts.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor testing procedures, and review preparations for concrete pouring, authorizing stage sign-offs in conjunction with client representatives.
• Track contractor performance against the project schedule, verify installed material quantities, and report field progress accurately to the Resident Engineer.
• Enforce site safety and environmental regulations, ensuring contractors adhere to proper excavation safety, dust control, and site logistics management in a desert environment.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 7 years of direct experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in mass earthworks, road networks, or large-scale site development.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is highly preferred.

Technical Expertise

Candidates must possess a comprehensive understanding of international civil engineering standards, including ASTM, AASHTO, and ACI codes. Proficiency in interpreting grading plans, utility profiles, and geotechnical reports is essential for this role.

Work Location and Communication

This is a full-time position requiring relocation to and work within the Tabuk region. Direct experience with the soil and logistical conditions of Saudi Arabian giga-projects, such as NEOM, Trojena, or Red Sea Global, is strongly preferred. Strong technical English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory for effective collaboration with contractors, surveyors, and project management teams.
