About the Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Guest Relation Host for Raffles The Red Sea, a new luxury destination located in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in the Umluj and Tabuk regions. The role requires 2-5 years of experience in guest relations or a related field within a luxury hospitality environment.

Role Context

Raffles The Red Sea is part of the Red Sea Project, offering a refined and luxurious experience that blends Raffles' service standards with the natural beauty and sustainability ethos of Red Sea Global. The resort features 361 rooms, multiple dining concepts, and a spa, catering to discerning travelers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and engage guests, recognizing returning visitors, VIPs, and special occasions.
  • Proactively identify and address guest preferences and expectations to personalize services.
  • Maintain detailed guest profiles to enhance future stays.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for in-house guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
  • Handle guest feedback, requests, and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
  • Coordinate bespoke guest experiences and amenities with relevant departments.
  • Manage arrival, in-house, and departure arrangements for VIPs and special-needs guests.
  • Liaise between guests and hotel management, escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Communicate guest preferences and instructions clearly across departments.
  • Uphold Raffles grooming, etiquette, and communication standards.
  • Ensure confidentiality and adherence to hotel policies and brand standards.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, or Guest Experience roles within a luxury or five-star hotel.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with property management systems such as Opera is advantageous.
  • Experience in pre-opening phases of a hotel is a requirement.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Polished appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and service-oriented.
  • Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
  • A proactive and anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in the Tabuk region, specifically serving the Umluj and Tabuk areas within Saudi Arabia.
