The Role of Steward Supervisor

As a Steward Supervisor at Red Sea Global Hospitality in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, this full-time role is central to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and condition across all back-of-house areas, kitchens, and operating equipment. The supervisor serves the needs of the business, guests, and colleagues by ensuring operational excellence in stewarding functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and uphold effective stewarding department procedures and operational techniques to support fellow hotel colleagues.
  • Supervise all Stewarding employees, facilities, operation, and expenses.
  • Collaborate with hotel team members to manage inventory levels and supplies, as well as approving storeroom requisitions.
  • Ensure cleanliness of all facilities and equipment.
  • Schedule preventative maintenance work monthly.
  • Ensure that all employees are acting in accordance with Health and Safety standards, using and storing chemicals properly, and using necessary safety materials when carrying out their tasks.
  • Play a proactive and influential role in the energy-conservation and environmental policies and practices of the hotel.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Steward Supervisor position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in stewarding or a similar hospitality operations role. A proven ability to supervise teams and manage departmental procedures is essential.
